WMS Locations

WMS Locations are the fundamental building blocks of the information handled by eoWarehouse. Put simply, in eoStar, a "Location" is a record that correlates to a physical spot inside of warehouse that can hold product. This could represent formal positions such as stock locations designated by floor lines and built flow racks, or more informal spots in the warehouse, like a repack cage or a receiving dock. Regardless of position, all of these locations must be assigned to a warehouse area. This hierarchical position for locations allows you to segment them in to reportable work areas, and more importantly designate the warehouse in which the location resides.
