A plugin is an add-on that attaches precise abilities for a specific program. eoStar has multiple plugins that allow for added capability of the eoStar system. With the addition of one or more plugins to your eoStar system, certain processes become capable while others are faster and easier. Many of these plugins are available for purchase.

While the majority of plugins add capabilities to eoStar, only selected users may access those changes. To add permission to an employee see Plugins Panel - Plugins Permissions.

When upgrading the database, removing a plugin will removed all information attached to that plugin. For information on how to add a purchased plugin, see Adding Plugins to the Database.
