The demand foresight plugin imports files from the Demand Foresight software, a forecasting and demand planning tool created by Foresight Technologies into the Forecast Entry screen. With the addition of the Forecast Plugin in eoStar, the importing of data from the Demand Foresight creates more accurate forecasts within the system. In order to properly import these files, the Foresight interface must be setup.

It Added:

• File>Database Administration>Configure Foresight Interface Panel.

Permissions

There are levels of access available for each individual employee or a specific employee department. The Permissions Panel limits or expands the field of access towards certain functions of eoStar and also creates a level of security.

• May import Demand Foresight forecasts from within the forecast entry screen - grants ability to import forecasts in the Forecast Review/Edit screen
